Job Description

As a Principal Recruiter at Hevo Data, you will play a crucial role in identifying and attracting top engineering talent to build the future of data infrastructure for AI. Your responsibilities will include: - Partnering with engineering leaders to understand the ideal candidate profile for technical roles such as SDE-4, Staff Engineer, and Principal Engineer. - Evaluating candidate fitment by analyzing their past work, technical contributions, and problem-solving approaches. - Conducting structured technical conversations to assess candidates prior to formal interviews. - Establishing and maintaining pipelines of deep-tech engineers specializing in Backend, Frontend, DevOps, and Data Infra. - Applying a systematic approach to target, network, and engage with passive talent pools. - Ensuring an engaging candidate experience and acting as a brand ambassador for Hevo within the tech community. To be successful in this role, you should possess: - 5+ years of technical recruiting experience focusing on senior engineering roles. - Ability to comprehend engineering depth without coding, evaluating the scalability of backend solutions and the complexity of automated infrastructure in DevOps. - Proven track record of closing Staff/Principal-level hires at product or deep-tech companies. - Capability to assess candidates beyond their resumes, understanding their technical impact and fit for the role. - Strong storytelling skills to communicate Hevo's vision to top engineers. - Passion for technology and a keen interest in systems design, distributed infrastructure, and cutting-edge data challenges.
