We are currently seeking a Principal Recruiter who transcends mere keyword matching. We are in search of an individual who possesses the ability to comprehend technology, evaluate candidates based on their previous technical projects, and effectively align them with the specific roles we are looking to fill. As a Principal Recruiter at Hevo, your responsibilities will include partnering with engineering leaders to define the ideal candidate profiles for various technical roles such as SDE-4, Staff Engineer, and Principal Engineer. You will evaluate candidate suitability by analyzing their past work, technical contributions, and problem-solving methodologies. Additionally, you will conduct structured technical discussions to pre-assess candidates prior to formal interviews and develop and maintain pipelines of skilled engineers specializing in Backend, Frontend, DevOps, and Data Infrastructure. Your approach will involve targeted networking and engagement with passive talent pools to ensure a consistent influx of top-tier candidates. Moreover, you will play a crucial role in providing candidates with an engaging experience throughout the recruitment process and serve as the brand ambassador for Hevo within the engineering community. The ideal candidate for this role should possess at least 10 years of technical recruiting experience, with a focus on senior engineering positions. While coding skills are not mandatory, a deep understanding of engineering is required to assess whether a backend engineer has experience in scalable development or if a DevOps engineer has expertise in automating complex infrastructure. A successful track record in closing Staff and Principal-level hires at product or deep-tech companies is essential, as well as the ability to evaluate candidates beyond their resumes by gauging their technical impact and alignment with the role requirements. Excellent storytelling capabilities are also crucial in articulating Hevo's vision to top engineers, while a passion for technology and a curiosity for delving into systems design, distributed infrastructure, and cutting-edge data challenges are highly valued.
