Senior Tax Analyst

As a Tax Specialist at Zendesk, your primary responsibility will be to handle India direct and indirect tax reporting and compliance. You will report to the APAC Senior Tax Manager based in Singapore. Key Responsibilities: - Review annual income tax computations for India GAAP statutory filing. - Prepare monthly TDS computations and reconciliations. - Prepare monthly and quarterly GST computations and reconciliations. - Provide support with statutory audits, Form 3CEB filings, etc. - Assist in tax audits and litigations to manage tax notices and collate information from various stakeholders. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams on various matters related to tax. - Support the team on ad hoc projects, as required. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; ACCA, CA or CPA preferred - Minimum 4 years of tax experience in a Big 4 firm or multinational company - Technically strong in India tax laws and rules - Knowledge of CbCR compliance valued - Understanding of US GAAP accounting appreciated - Practical experience in tax automation project would be advantageous - Working knowledge of tax software (e.g. ONESOURCE/ Longview) is a plus - Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel - Knowledge of a NetSuite preferred - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail - Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal - Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment with cross-functional teams in various different timezones - Strong time management skills and commitment to meeting timelines consistently Please note that Zendesk can only hire candidates who are physically located and plan to work from Pune.
