Senior Tableau Administrator

We are hiring a Senior Tableau Server Administrator to join our team in Ahmedabad. If you have 6–8 years of experience managing Tableau environments, optimizing performance, and securing access across enterprise systems we’d love to connect with you.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, configure, and maintain Tableau Server for high performance and availability
• Monitor server health, tune performance, and proactively troubleshoot issues
• Manage user roles, project structures, and access permissions
• Perform upgrades, patches, and server maintenance
• Work closely with developers on dashboard deployment and issue resolution
• Automate admin tasks using PowerShell, Python, or Bash
• Integrate Tableau with enterprise data sources and authentication systems
• Maintain documentation of system architecture, configurations, and best practices
• Stay updated with Tableau releases and new feature recommendations

 Required Skills:

• Minimum 3 years of hands-on Tableau Server Administration experience
• Strong understanding of Tableau architecture, performance tuning, and user security
• SQL proficiency and experience configuring data sources
• Knowledge of scripting (PowerShell, Python, or Bash)
• Experience with content migration, backup, and restore
• Strong communication and collaboration skills in cross-functional environments

 Educational Qualifications:

• Candidates must have one of the following degrees:
• BE / BTech
• BSc + MSc (Computer Science / IT)
• BCA + MCA

 Preferred/Good to Have:

• Tableau Server/Desktop certification
• Experience with Tableau Cloud on AWS or Azure
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines or DevOps tools
• Experience supporting Tableau in large-scale enterprise environments
