About Position:

Senior Position in ESG Advisory practice

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead Project Execution: Lead consulting projects related to ESG/ Sustainability Advisory, demonstrating knowledge and experience to clients across the following indicative areas:

i) ESG Strategic Direction and Roadmap covering stakeholder engagement & materiality assessment.

ii) ESG Policy and Governance Framework.

iii) Sustainability Reporting & Disclosures based on different frameworks such as GRI, IIRC, SASB, TCFD, IFRS S1 & S2, CDP, etc.

iv) GHG Emission Analysis (Scope 1, Scope 2 & Scope 3 including financed emissions for Banks).

v) Decarbonization Roadmap to achieve Net Zero using SBTi guidelines

vi) Climate risk assessment, scenario analysis and stress testing using frameworks such as TCFD, CSRD, etc. and developing Climate Risk Management Framework

vii) Sustainable Financing Framework.

viii) Sustainable Procurement Policy and Roadmap

• Project Management: Understand client requirements, collaboratively develop detailed project plan, manage, execute projects with the team, ensuring timely delivery as per agreed project timelines and client satisfaction, invoicing and collection of fees.
• Talent Development: Active involvement in recruitment and team development.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Manage client relationships with the objective of securing repeat business and referrals. Also engage/ liaison with other internal and external stakeholders such as design team, subject matter experts/ freelancers, etc.
• Support Business Development and Revenue/ Profitability Targets: On receipt of a lead, support Business Head in discussions with the prospective clients to prepare proposal. Provide support to Business Head for achieving revenue and profitability targets for the practice.
• Development of Pitches and Papers: Conceptualization and development of new service offerings by preparing pre-sales pitches, approach papers, point of views, articles, videos, etc.
• Any other support that may be required from time to time for the development and growth of the practice.

Qualification and Experience requirements:

• Post-graduation in Environment or related field.
• 9+ years of post-qualification experience with a suitable mix of consulting and industry experience.
• Exact position shall be ascertained basis the qualification, relevant experience and internal benchmarking.

Desired Attributes:

• Hands-on experience across a multitude of services under ESG/ sustainability consulting domain
• Understanding of sustainability landscape, including key stakeholders and their interests, reporting and transparency trends and evolving laws & regulations.
• Experience of sustainability reporting frameworks and standards including GRI, SASB, TCFD, and UN Global Compact among others.
• Comfortable to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, rapidly evolving environment.
• Aspire and capable to take P&L responsibility as part of career progression.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Good in managing client and other stakeholder relationships.
• Open to travel for client meetings and project execution
