Job Description

 
  • USGAAP Monthly Closing: Coordinating with GSC (Global Service Center at Manila, Philippines, the shared service center) for ensuring accurate monthly accounts closing and transmission of financial result to parent. Responsible for preparation of financial reports (P&L and BS) on monthly basis for review.
  • General Ledger Maintenance: Monitor and maintain the integrity of the Chart of Accounts, cost centers, and profit centers by coordinating closely with the GSC.
  • Monthly Accrual: Coordinating with the internal stakeholders for submission of the accruals monthly as per the agreed timelines. Overseeing the monthly accruals to ensure the accuracy of reporting. Preparation of accruals from controlling in accordance with the Company Policies and procedures like Gratis, Tax provision etc.,
  • Year end USGAAP Reporting: Coordinating with the GSC to ensure year end activities and reporting requirements to the parent entity. Review of year end closure and transfer of balances-accuracy.
  • Monthly Account reconciliations: Ensure timely submission and review of Balance Sheet account reconciliations in accordance with internal policies.
  • Support in IGAAP Quarterly and Annual Closing: Assist in coordinating with auditors for quarterly and annual closings, specifically for areas related to Cost of Goods Sold (COGS) and Operating Expenses (Opex) and others. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure consistency and completeness of financial information for audit purposes.
  • Risk Management & Compliance : Ensure adherence to corporate policies and procedures in all financial matters, supporting internal controls and compliance frameworks.
  • Strategic Business Partnering : Liaise with senior team members to support financial discussions, provide insights, and contribute to strategic decision-making.
Your Skills and Expertise
To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:
  • B.com and Chartered Accountant.
  • Minimum of 8-9 years post qualification finance experience; Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Fluent English both in written and verbal.
  • Familiar with Companies Act, IGAAP (Ind AS) and USGAAP regulations.
  • Strong numeracy skills, experienced in using Microsoft Excel; Capacity on technical tools (Power BI).
  • Can problems solve and work through issues independently.
  • Self-starter with ability to prioritize projects and drive change.
  • Cross-cultural project management experience, good team player and able to motivate self and others.
