Job Description:

• Strong background with

  Web/Internet protocols

  such as HTTP/2, HTTP/3 (QUIC), TLS, DNS, TCP/IP, and UDP.
• Experience analyzing and mitigating

  DDoS attacks

  (volumetric, protocol, application layer) using Akamai Prolexic/WAF, Fastly WAF, or equivalent.
• Proficient in

  Akamai & Fastly CDN technologies

  , including edge configuration, caching, routing, and load balancing.
• Experience developing or integrating

  bot management, web scraping defense, and client analytics

  solutions.
• Data privacy,

  information security expertise

  , and familiarity with compliance standards (GDPR, SOC2, PCI DSS, HIPAA if relevant).
• Expertise in analysis and problem-solving of

  large-scale distributed systems

  (low latency, high throughput).
• Deep knowledge of

  CDNs, reverse proxies, WAFs, caching layers, and traffic management systems

  .
• Hands-on experience managing

  high-traffic, attack-prone, mission-critical websites and APIs

  (e-commerce, fintech, OTT, SaaS).
• Ability to

  design and build core components

  of a CDN networking stack and optimize computation/network performance by observing real-world traffic.
• Enhance Akamai/Fastly

  DDoS protection, bot mitigation, and edge security policies

  .
• Strong experience with

  edge computing technologies

  : Fastly Compute@Edge, Akamai Edge Workers, Cloudflare Workers, AWS Lambda@Edge.
• Familiarity with

  content security and encryption at edge

  (HSTS, CSP, TLS offloading, token-based auth, mTLS).
• Experience with

  multi-CDN architectures

  (Akamai, Fastly) including routing, failover, and cost optimization.
• Knowledge of

  streaming/OTT content delivery

  (HLS, DASH, DRM) and performance tuning for video at scale.
• Experience integrating CDNs with

  DevOps pipelines (CI/CD)

  and automating configuration deployments via Terraform, Ansible, or custom APIs.
• Handson in

  Akamai Net Storage

  and Fastly storage [Cloud storage, Fastly Origin services]
• Strong knowledge of

  observability tools

  (Akamai mPulse, Fastly Insights, Fastly Real-Time Log Streaming + Observability Integrations) for performance and incident monitoring.
• Experience with

  log analysis and traffic anomaly detection

  at CDN/edge.
• Skilled in

  scripting and automation

  (Python, Bash, Go, or Next.js) to manage CDN configurations, logs, and performance tuning.
