Senior Software Engineer, QA

Responsibilities

• Review requirements, specifications, and functional design documents to ensure clarity and alignment with business needs. Also, necessary feedback to be provided as required
• Create and maintain detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test cases.
• Design, develop, execute and maintain automation scripts using relevant tools and frameworks
• Identify, record, document thoroughly, and track bugs using bug tracking systems
• Follow testing process as defined by the Quality Management System
• Collaboration with internal and global teams (e.g., developers & product owner) to identify testing requirements
  

Education / Qualifications

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science / related discipline is required.
  

Required Qualifications

• 3 - 5 years of experience in software testing, covering both manual and automated testing processes.
• Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and hands-on experience with modern test automation tools such as Playwright/any relevant tools.
• Strong analytical mindset with exceptional attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and effective communication skills (both verbal and written).
• Proven ability to manage multiple testing activities, prioritize effectively, and deliver high-quality results within tight project timelines.
• Demonstrated adaptability to evolving technologies, project scopes, and testing methodologies, with a continuous learning mindset to stay current in the field
  

Desired Qualifications

• Public Safety experience is desirable.
• Familiar with Agile Scrum Methodology
• Applied knowledge of SQL Server Management Studio and SQL scripting
