Position Overview

As a Senior Software Developer, you will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and optimizing trading systems and infrastructure. You will work directly with quantitative researchers, traders, and other engineers to build and maintain technology solutions that drive our trading strategies. This is a unique opportunity to work at the intersection of technology and finance.

Key Responsibilities

• System Design & Implementation: Create and enhance high-frequency trading engines in C++/Rust that span multiple venues.
• Performance Tuning: Conduct algorithmic research, profiling, and benchmarking to drive continuous latency improvements.
• Tooling & Observability: Build dashboards, alerting, and administrative interfaces for real-time system visibility.
• Full-Lifecycle Ownership: Lead requirements gathering, coding, testing, deployment, and maintenance of core modules.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with quants, traders, and fellow engineers to align technology with strategy.
• Innovation & Growth: Stay current on language features, libraries, and best practices in systems programming and fintech.

Qualifications

Must Have:

• Academic Background: BS/MS in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline
• Professional Experience: 3–5 years in C++/Rust development, object-oriented design.
• Systems Knowledge: Data structures & Algorithms, distributed/low-latency systems, multi-threading, parallel computing
• Coding Excellence: Clean, efficient, maintainable code with comprehensive documentation
• Operational Skills: Linux proficiency, networking fundamentals, production debugging
• Soft Skills: Analytical mindset, meticulous attention to detail, strong teamwork and communication

Good To Have:

• Financial technology or HFT industry background
• Insight into market microstructure, trading protocols, TCP/IP (other network technologies)
• Python for scripting; experience with other languages (Go, Java, R, Bash)
• Experience with big data technologies such as Hadoop/Spark.

Work Arrangement

• Location:

  India (onsite/hybrid/remote options available).

• Hours:

  Night shift aligned to U.S. market hours (typically ~6:00 PM–3:00 AM IST; varies with U.S. Daylight Saving Time).
