Position Overview

We are seeking an accomplished Senior Software Engineer with a strong background in FastAPI, Angular + TypeScript, and MongoDB.

The ideal candidate should possess hands-on expertise in GIS technologies, demonstrate strong leadership and system design capabilities, and be capable of independently managing UI/UX design and optimization in the absence of a dedicated design team.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect, design, and implement scalable backend services using FastAPI and robust frontend applications using Angular + TypeScript.
• Develop and optimize data storage systems leveraging MongoDB for high performance and scalability.
• Utilize GIS libraries and servers (e.g., GDAL, GeoPandas, Leaflet, WMS, GeoServer) for geospatial data processing, visualization, and analysis.
• Lead and mentor a team of 8 software engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence and collaboration.
• Create and maintain system design documentation, including ER diagrams, sequence diagrams, and component tree diagrams.
• Design and refine UI/UX workflows to ensure user-centric and scalable application interfaces.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align engineering outcomes with strategic objectives.
• Ensure that all systems and applications are optimized for offline deployment, with no reliance on cloud infrastructure.

Required Skills and Experience

• Minimum of 4+ years of professional experience in product-based companies with demonstrated expertise in Python , Angular + TypeScript, MongoDB, and Docker and Kubernetes.
• Proven experience with GIS technologies, including GDAL, GeoPandas, Leaflet, WMS, and GeoServer.
• Strong foundation in software design patterns, scalable architecture, and system-level thinking.
• Prior experience leading or mentoring a team of 8 or more engineers in a dynamic environment.
• Proficiency in designing and documenting complex systems and user workflows.
• Demonstrated ability to develop intuitive and performant UI/UX interfaces independently.
• Experience in building and maintaining offline-first applications without dependence on cloud services.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with on-premises infrastructure and deployment environments.
• Knowledge of performance optimization and application profiling techniques.

Educational Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline,
• or an equivalent combination of education and professional experience.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to ₹1,600,000.00 per year
