Job Description

About The Role

We're Vehicles Supplier team, building highly scalable and extensible solutions for Uber's critical supply types Fleets/Rentals/Financiers. As a backend Sr.Software Engineer, you will design and develop feature around these solutions using cutting edge latest technologies. You will work with cross functional as well as external teams to drive these features till production delivery.

What The Candidate Will Need / Bonus Points

---- What the Candidate Will Do ----

Build and maintain backend microservices that support user-facing products
Work with Product, Design, Data Science, and other Engineers to generate and execute on product ideas
Advocate for sustainable products and practices with other stakeholders across the company

Basic Qualifications

Experience with distributed systems and services
Experience collaborating with geographically distributed teams
Strong communicator and collaborator

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent practical experience
Strong programming skills with e.g. Java, Python, Go, C++, C#
6+ years of software development experience
