Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior Software Engineer at Aerlync Labs, Inc., located in the Greater Chennai Area. The Senior Software Engineer will design, develop, and implement software solutions and embedded systems for cutting-edge applications. Responsibilities include writing, testing, and debugging code, collaborating with cross-functional teams to define system requirements, and optimizing system performance. The engineer will also lead technical discussions, mentor junior developers, and contribute to project planning and innovation efforts.

Qualifications

• Strong programming skills in languages such as C, C++, Python, or Java
• Experience in embedded systems development, microcontroller programming, and hardware-software integration
• Proficiency in wireless technologies, protocols such as Bluetooth, Zigbee, or Wi-Fi, and networking concepts
• Ability to perform system optimization, debugging, and performance tuning
• Experience with software development life cycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field
• Familiarity with industrial automation or prior experience in IoT systems is a plus
