Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior Software Engineer at Aerlync Labs, Inc., located in the Greater Chennai Area. The Senior Software Engineer will design, develop, and implement software solutions and embedded systems for cutting-edge applications. Responsibilities include writing, testing, and debugging code, collaborating with cross-functional teams to define system requirements, and optimizing system performance. The engineer will also lead technical discussions, mentor junior developers, and contribute to project planning and innovation efforts. Qualifications Strong programming skills in languages such as C, C++, Python, or Java Experience in embedded systems development, microcontroller programming, and hardware-software integration Proficiency in wireless technologies, protocols such as Bluetooth, Zigbee, or Wi-Fi, and networking concepts Ability to perform system optimization, debugging, and performance tuning Experience with software development life cycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field Familiarity with industrial automation or prior experience in IoT systems is a plus
