About the Role

Salesforce QA Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Create, execute, and maintain

  manual and automated test cases

  , test scripts, and test plans for Salesforce applications.
• Perform

  functional, regression, integration, system, and UAT testing

  across Salesforce modules.
• Develop and enhance

  Selenium-based test automation frameworks

  for Salesforce components.
• Collaborate closely with business analysts, developers, and product owners to understand requirements and translate them into test scenarios.
• Validate Salesforce configurations, customizations, workflows, triggers, and integrations.
• Identify defects, log issues in Jira (or similar tools), and track them through resolution.
• Perform API testing (REST/SOAP) as needed for Salesforce integrations.
• Ensure compliance with QA processes, best practices, and documentation standards.
• Provide detailed test reports, coverage metrics, and quality insights to stakeholders.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years

  of proven experience in

  Quality Assurance

  for web or cloud applications.
• Minimum

  3+ years of experience in Salesforce QA

  (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, or other modules).
• Strong hands-on experience in

  Selenium WebDriver

  and test automation frameworks (TestNG/JUnit).
• Good exposure to

  manual QA testing methodologies

  , test planning, and defect management.
• Experience with

  Salesforce configurations

  , workflows, validations, and custom objects.
• Proficiency in

  testing APIs

  using tools like Postman, SoapUI, etc.
• Strong knowledge of

  SQL

  for data validation.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Git, etc.) is a plus.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Salesforce certifications (QA Specialist, Admin, or Platform App Builder) are a plus.
• Experience with

  Salesforce Lightning

  and LWC testing.
• Knowledge of BDD frameworks (Cucumber) is an advantage.
