Job Description

Key Responsibilities

New Client Acquisition

  • Identify, target, and acquire new clients through strategic prospecting and relationship building
  • Develop and execute go-to-market and client acquisition strategies
  • Convert leads into long-term business opportunities

Sales Pipeline & Revenue Generation

  • Build, manage, and forecast a robust sales pipeline to meet and exceed revenue targets
  • Drive end-to-end sales cycles from lead generation to deal closure
  • Ensure predictable revenue flow and quarterly/yearly target achievement

Account Mining & Growth

  • Expand existing accounts by identifying cross-sell and up-sell opportunities
  • Strengthen client relationships to maximize lifetime value
  • Manage key accounts and ensure high levels of client satisfaction

Market Analysis & Strategy

  • Conduct market research to identify trends, competitive positioning, and growth opportunities
  • Analyze customer needs and align solutions to market demand
  • Provide insights to leadership for strategic decision-making

P&L Ownership

  • Own and manage P&L for assigned business units or accounts
  • Monitor revenue, costs, margins, and profitability
  • Drive operational efficiency while maintaining revenue growth

Leadership & Collaboration

  • Work closely with marketing, delivery, and product teams to align sales strategies
  • Mentor junior sales team members and support performance improvement
  • Represent the organization professionally in client meetings and industry events

Required Skills & Competencies

  • Proven expertise in

    new client acquisition and business development

  • Strong experience in

    sales pipeline management and forecasting

  • Demonstrated success in

    revenue generation and target achievement

  • Solid understanding of

    market analysis and competitive intelligence

  • Hands-on experience with

    account mining, cross-selling, and up-selling

  • Strong

    P&L management

    and commercial acumen
  • Excellent negotiation, presentation, and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced, target-driven environment

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred)
  • 8–12 years of progressive experience in sales or business development
  • Experience in [Industry/Domain – optional]
