Job Description

As a Senior Sales Manager (Household) in Mumbai within the Retail Banking business unit of Branch Banking, your role involves managing and scaling up the retail branch banking business for the region. You will be responsible for implementing strategies to achieve growth targets, expanding branch footprint, increasing product penetration, and delivering high-quality customer service. Your main goal is to identify potential areas for acquiring Current Account customers in assigned geographies and guide your team to successfully convert them. You will also have a P&L responsibility contributing to the larger branch banking channel objectives. **Roles & Responsibilities:** - Mentor a team of Sales Managers across the assigned command area of branches - Identify leads for acquiring potential customers for asset products to generate fee-based revenues - Monitor daily sales calls to ensure the acquisition process is followed, including market coverage - Activate Current account clients on transactions, ensuring delivery against assigned targets - Impart and refresh product knowledge to team members, ensuring complete updated product awareness within the team - Resolve customer queries in a timely manner - Ensure the right level of staffing in the region for the Current Account team - Maintain low team attrition - Manage customer-centric operations, ensuring customer satisfaction by achieving delivery and service quality norms - Evaluate the growth strategy based on competitor analysis and feedback from different channels/customers - Recommend process changes to improve service efficiency and quality across the branch network - Monitor growth and execution as per the defined business plan **Managerial & Leadership Responsibilities:** - Attract and retain best-in-class talent for key roles in your reporting structure - Monitor key parameters on employee productivity, hiring quality, and attrition rates, making necessary improvements - Enable teams to drive growth targets by providing necessary support Your compensation is best in class in the industry, and you will play a crucial role in the success of the branch banking channel objectives.,
