Job Description

As a Senior Sales Manager (Household) at our company in Mumbai within the Retail Banking Business Unit under Branch Banking function, your job is to manage and scale up the retail branch banking business for the region by implementing strategies to achieve growth targets. You will be accountable for expanding branch footprint, increasing product penetration, and delivering high-quality customer service. Your responsibilities include identifying business potential areas for acquiring Current Account customers in assigned geographies and guiding a team to convert them successfully. You will also have P&L responsibility contributing to larger branch banking channel objectives. **Roles & Responsibilities:** - Mentor a team of Sales Managers across the assigned command area of branches - Identify leads for acquiring potential customers for asset products to generate fee-based revenues - Monitor daily sales calls to ensure the acquisition process is followed, including market coverage - Activate Current account clients on transactions, responsible for current account float delivery against assigned targets - Impart and refresh product knowledge to team members, ensuring complete updated product awareness within the team - Resolve customer queries in a timely manner - Ensure the right level of staffing in the region for the Current Account team - Maintain low team attrition - Manage customer-centric operations and ensure customer satisfaction by achieving delivery & service quality norms - Evaluate growth strategy based on competitor analysis and feedback from different channels/customers - Recommend process changes to improve service efficiency and quality across the branch network - Monitor growth and execution as per the defined business plan **Managerial & Leadership Responsibilities:** - Attract and retain best-in-class talent for key roles in your reporting structure - Monitor key parameters on employee productivity, hiring quality, and attrition rates, making necessary improvements - Enable teams to drive growth targets by providing necessary support You will be part of a dynamic team that aims to achieve the best in the industry compensation while contributing to the growth and success of the branch banking channel objectives.,
