Purpose:

Lead the sales team to achieve showroom targets for Dewars Garage’s car showrooms, ensure exceptional customer experiences, and maintain high standards of brand representation. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve showroom targets
  • Supervise, lead, motivate, and train the sales team to maximize productivity and customer satisfaction. 
  • Oversee inquiry generation through local marketing, digital ads, events, and promotions aligned with OEM's brand campaigns. 
  • Ensure compliance with policies, SOPs, and DMS (Dealer Management System) standards. 
  • Manage KPIs, plan staff growth, review performance, and ensure high dealership profitability. 
  • Handle key customer accounts, escalations, and customer relations from initial contact to post-sale support. 
  • Monitor sales metrics
  • Oversee showroom presentation in line with guidelines and coordinate with backend/service teams as required. 
  • Ensure smooth execution of vehicle deliveries, documentation, and warranty registrations. 
  • Execute sales support activities such as driving add-ons (insurance, financing, accessories) and managing customer satisfaction indices. 
  • Stay updated with competition, industry trends to inform continuous improvement.

Person Specification – Senior Sales Manager (Dewars Garage Maruti Showrooms)

Education and Qualifications:

  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field  
  • Valid driver’s license required.

Experience:

  • 12-15 years of experience in sales, with at least 2 years in a managerial/supervisory position; Maruti Suzuki or other automobile dealership experience would be a plus. 
  • Demonstrated success in achieving or exceeding sales targets and leading sales teams. 

Skills and Competencies:

  • Strong leadership, people management, and motivational skills. 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and customer service capabilities. 
  • Sound knowledge of sales and customer relationship management
  • Analytical mindset; proficiency with CRM systems, DMS, and Microsoft Office Suite. 
  • Strategic thinking with ability to execute sales and marketing campaigns on ground.
