Job Summary: We are looking for a skilled Java Developer with a strong foundation in backend development and practical experience in leveraging AI tools and platforms to enhance product features, automation, and user experience. The ideal candidate will be proficient in Java and familiar with using AI APIs, SaaS platforms, and AI-assisted development tools to build intelligent, scalable solutions. Roles and Responsibilities: Review and understand the existing architecture of the Cross Identity platform: Platform components, CI modules, data repositories, and integrations. Design and document scalable, secure architecture for both on-premise and cloud deployments. Identify and recommend improvements in system design, scalability, performance, and security. Collaborate with Product Owners to understand feature requirements and enhancement needs. Lead and support the team in developing new features, enhancements, and integrating AI tools. Write clean, maintainable Java code adhering to internal standards and best practices. Conduct design/code reviews and provide technical guidance to team members. Develop and execute unit and integration tests, support system testing. Troubleshoot and resolve functional and performance issues. Assist in training, mentoring, and knowledge sharing within the team. Maintain project documentation and provide timely status updates. Technical Skill Set: Strong expertise in Core Java, J2EE, Spring Framework, Spring Boot, Hibernate, JPA, REST APIs. Hands on experience on Frontend Development Good understanding of OOP, design patterns, and multithreading. Experience with microservices architecture, distributed systems, and multiple data source management. Familiar with Spring Cloud, Spring Security, JWT, OAuth/OIDC, SAML protocols. Experience in MySQL, Linux/Windows OS environments, and containerization (Docker). Proficiency with source control (Git, Azure DevOps), build tools (Maven), and CI/CD (GitLab, Jenkins). Knowledge of server configuration, deployment (AWS, Heroku), and application performance tuning. Familiarity with unit testing, UML, and Agile methodologies. AI Tools Expertise: Experience integrating AI capabilities using tools/platforms such as: OpenAI, Hugging Face, Azure Cognitive Services, AWS AI/ML Services Ability to embed AI-powered features into Java applications (e.g., text analysis, summarization, anomaly detection, auto-tagging). Understanding prompt engineering and working with external AI APIs. Knowledge of using AI-assisted development tools or no-code/low-code AI platforms is a plus. Soft Skills: Strong communication, collaboration, and mentoring abilities. Self-starter with a problem-solving mindset and process-oriented approach. Ability to work independently and in a team in a fast-paced environment. Enthusiastic about learning and applying new technologies. Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. 8 to 10 years years of Java application development experience. Hands-on experience with secure and scalable software architecture. Java Certification is a plus.
