Implementation Engineer

Role Overview:

• We (Cross Identity) are currently seeking a proficient Identity and Access Management (IAM) Subject Matter Expert (SME) for implementation activities.
• The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 3 years of experience in IAM implementation and support, excellent communication skills, adeptness in customer interaction, and a strong technical background in web servers, application servers, and databases.
• This role will involve executing both onsite and offsite implementations, providing technical support, and ensuring the seamless operation of IAM systems.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with clients to understand their IDAM requirements and design customized IDAM solutions.
• Execute end-to-end implementation and support of IDAM systems, both onsite and offsite..
• Ensure adherence to project timelines and specifications and timely delivery of milestones.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to clients, addressing issues related to web servers, application servers, and databases within the IAM environment.
• Act as a primary point of contact for customer inquiries and escalations, demonstrating professionalism and responsiveness in all interactions.
• Conduct thorough testing and quality assurance to validate the functionality and security of IAM solutions before deployment.
• Document processes, configurations, and troubleshooting steps to facilitate knowledge transfer and ensure effective support for future incidents.
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in IAM, continuously enhancing skills and knowledge to drive innovation and improvement.
• Guide and train the team on new features and enhancements of the IAM solution.
• Obtaining feedback from clients, designers, and engineers and adjusting product specifications as needed.
• Plan and prioritize product feature backlog and development for the product.

Technical Skill-set

• Experience & Knowledge about any of the IAM solutions (SailPoint, Forgerock, CyberArk, etc.)
• Hands-on experience in support of IDAM solutions
• Good understanding of complex IAM use cases such as User Lifecycle Management, Provisioning, Deprovisioning, Reconciliation, Password management, Access Certification, RBAC, SOD, Role Management, Access Request, Delegation, Auditing, Reporting, and user activity Monitoring.
• Experience & Knowledge about Federation Protocol (SAML, OAuth), PAM cases, and CIEM use cases
• Experience & Knowledge of various Application servers (such as WebSphere, JBoss, and Tomcat)
• Experience & Knowledge of various Web servers (such as IIS, and Apache)
• Experience & Knowledge of various Database servers (MS SQL, Oracle, MySQL)
• Good understanding of Networking (Firewall, Ports, Reverse-proxy, Load-balancer, SSL, etc.)
• Good Understanding of Directory Servers (AD, OpenLDAP etc.)
• Good understanding of high Availability, fail-over, and backup/restore processes.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
• Proven track record of working on multiple projects simultaneously and delivering results within deadlines.
• Basic Java Programming is desirable
• Ability to effectively perform the technical requirements.
• Ability to effectively troubleshoot, and problem-solve with deep analytical skills.
• Ability to prioritize effectively and work with a sense of urgency
• Ability to work independently with a significant attention to detail.
• Ability to manage issues and projects to consistently meet deadlines.

Qualification

• Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science or equivalent (preferred)
• 2 to 7 years of Experience in IDAM Solution Consultation/Implementation
• Experience in working with customer stakeholders (Infra Team, Application team, etc)
• Experience in coordination with other stakeholders
• Candidates must be based in Mumbai.
