Job Summary:

The Senior Sales Manager will be responsible for driving sales and market growth of TMT bars in the Korba region. The role involves developing dealer/distributor networks, managing key accounts, leading the sales team, and ensuring achievement of revenue and volume targets while maintaining strong relationships with channel partners and end customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets for TMT bars in the Korba region.
  • Identify, appoint, and manage dealers, distributors, and retailers in the assigned territory.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with contractors, builders, fabricators, and project customers.
  • Monitor competitor activities, market trends, and pricing strategies to maintain a competitive edge.
  • Ensure timely collections and adherence to credit control policies.
  • Lead, train, and motivate the regional sales team to achieve performance goals.
  • Conduct regular market visits to assess demand, product performance, and customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with marketing and logistics teams to ensure adequate product availability and promotional activities.
  • Prepare and present sales forecasts, performance reports, and MIS data to management.

  • Proficient in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and CRM tools.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Education:

    Graduate in any discipline (BBA/B.Com/B.E. preferred); MBA in Marketing will be an added advantage.
  • Experience:

    Minimum

    8–12 years

    of sales experience in

    TMT bars / steel / building materials

    industry, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
  • Language:

    Proficiency in Hindi and English; local language (Chhattisgarhi) preferred.
  • Other:

    Must have a valid driving license and willingness to travel extensively within the region.
