Senior Sales Engineer

Job Summary:

We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Senior Sales Engineer to lead sales efforts for our our Air Dryer & Water Chiller business across India. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent communication skills, and a successful track record in industrial equipment sales. This role involves identifying new business opportunities, building customer relationships, supporting key accounts, and mentoring junior sales team members.

Key Responsibilities:

• Promote and sell industrial air dryers and related products to customers in assigned territories.

• Identify and develop new business opportunities across OEM, end-user, and government sectors

• Generate leads, prepare quotations, and close sales

• Identify customer needs, provide product recommendations, and prepare quotations and proposals.

• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients.

• Conduct site visits, product demonstrations, and technical presentations.

• Negotiate contracts and ensure adherence to commercial and technical terms

• Understand customer needs and recommend tailored air dryer solutions

• Mentor and support junior sales staff

• Coordinate with internal teams for order execution and delivery

• Meet sales targets and contribute to overall business growth

• Attend trade shows and industry events to promote products

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s/Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or related Engineering field.

• Minimum 5 years in B2B industrial equipment sales (preferably air dryers/compressors)

• Strong knowledge of compressed air systems and air dryer technologies is a plus.

• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills

• Self-motivated and target-driven

• Willing to travel frequently Preferred

Qualifications:

• Experience in B2B industrial equipment sales.

• CRM and ERP system experience is an advantage.

• Exposure to service and after-sales support
