Senior Safety Officer

Ensure continued compliance with ISO standards and contribute towards maintaining certification status.

Develop, review, and update safety and quality documentation in accordance with ISO requirements.

Support the implementation of corrective and preventive actions post-audit.

Ensure all educational campuses, infrastructure projects, and facilities comply with the National Building Code (NBC) of India.

Conduct regular inspections and safety assessments to verify adherence to NBC standards.

Liaise with architects, civil engineers, and contractors to ensure regulatory compliance from design to execution.

Monitor and enforce adherence to health and safety regulations across all PW facilities.

Conduct routine safety drills, training, and awareness sessions for staff and students.

Identify potential hazards, implement risk mitigation strategies, and maintain incident/accident records.

Coordinate emergency preparedness and response activities.

Maintain comprehensive records of safety audits, inspection reports, incident logs, and compliance checklists.

Prepare safety compliance reports for internal review and regulatory submissions.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate safety protocols in operations and expansion projects.

Bachelors degree in Occupational Health Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Relevant certifications in ISO auditing (ISO 9001, 14001, 45001) and NBC compliance.

Minimum 5 of experience in safety management, preferably in the education, corporate, or infrastructure sector.

Strong knowledge of Indian safety regulations, standards, and statutory requirements.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Proficient in safety audit tools and reporting systems.

Ability to train and engage non-technical personnel in safety practices.

Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
