Key Tasks & Responsibilities:

Implementation of safety Management system communication, follow up, report, action

Undertaking Periodic safety audits of plants, terminals and SGS /S&S (bulk /33kg/LOT) Installations

Monitoring compliance with respect to Company Safety & Health Policy and Safety Standards

Maintenance of Safe and Healthy working Environment in all Super Gas Business Areas

Undertake appropriate Risk Assessments of Plants to identify potential hazards

Promulgate Policy on Statutory requirements for Plants and Installations on Safety considering State and Central Regulations

Training on Safety on All India basis

Liaison and lobbying with Safety Councils and Statutory Authorities

Analysis of Near Miss, Accidents Investigations and reporting-Ensure Corrective action.

Implement action plan related to Raise the Bar-Safety and Power of Zero-Accident and Losses

Implement Min SHV Gas Standards on Safety, Reports

Issue of Safety Guidelines and Safety Flashes

Manage Folder on Safety in Manthan (Intranet)

Statutory and CCOE license status monitoring and review

1. Prepare SOPs in respect of various critical Plant Activities
2. Operation manual updation - implementation
3. Policy folder preparation- updation

Implementation of VTS /Conspicuity Profiling in Bulk and Cylinder trucks, Monitoring control on CCTVs in plants /terminals

Rating of Transporters on Service and Safety and recommending awards

Monitor Training of Truck/tanker crew

Implement policies on Health and Environment-Celebration of World Environment Day

Health and Safety guidelines for all stakeholders

To perform Plant Engineer roles and responsibilities as a backup.
