Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Implement and monitor safety procedures and programs across project sites.
Conduct daily site inspections to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with safety standards.
Oversee
inward and outward material movement
and monitor
security operations
at site gates.
Conduct
toolbox talks
, induction sessions, and safety awareness programs for all workers and contractors.
Investigate
incidents, accidents, and near misses
; prepare detailed reports and recommend corrective actions.
Ensure proper usage of
Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
and adherence to safety norms.
Maintain records of inspections, incident reports, and safety audits.
Coordinate with project teams and contractors to resolve safety and security issues.
Support emergency preparedness and conduct
fire and evacuation drills
.
Stay updated on evolving safety practices, statutory norms, and site risk mitigation measures.

Preferred candidate profile

Qualification:
Diploma in
Fire & Industrial Safety
OR
ADIS
or equivalent certification.
Experience:
Minimum
8 years
of site safety experience in
high-rise and Mivan construction projects
.
Strong understanding of safety codes, BOCW, OSHA, and local regulatory requirements.
Experience in
incident management
, security supervision, and material gate control.
Excellent communication, leadership, and reporting skills.
Physically fit and willing to conduct regular on-site monitoring.
