Senior Research Assistant in the Centre for Psycho-oncology Research & Teaching and the Division of Behavioural Sciences of the School of Public Health

(Ref.: 533773) (to commence as soon as possible for a one-year temporary term contract, with the possibility of renewal subject to funding availability and satisfactory performance)Applicants should possess a Bachelor’s degree in psychology, social sciences, public health, or related disciplines. They should have substantial experience in monitoring project progress and liaising with clinical sites. Strong skills in data analysis are required, with proficiency in SPSS or other statistical software. Experience in cohort data management will be considered an advantage. They should be self-motivated, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently while also contributing effectively to a multidisciplinary team. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential.The appointee will take a leading role in overseeing project implementation, ensuring smooth coordination across study sites, and monitoring progress to meet milestones. He/She will be responsible for supervising data collection and analysis, preparing reports and manuscripts, and supporting the team in maintaining high standards of data quality and project delivery. He/She will liaise with clinical collaborators to facilitate patient recruitment and study activities, contribute to the management of cohort data with accuracy and integrity, and assist in intervention studies. Other duties may be assigned as appropriate.
