Join Intellex as a RAMS Specialist to implement Reliability, Availability, Maintainability, and Safety (RAMS) and System Engineering principles, delivering RAM and system safety engineering solutions for railway projects in India and globally. Engage in international projects with opportunities to work in the Middle East and the UK. Benefit from formal CPD (UK) and IRSE (UK) training and mentorship from very experienced consultants, to develop into a Principal consultant in RAMS and System Engineering disciplines and their application to railway systems. You will have opportunity to work in variety of discipline projects namely Rolling stock, signalling, Power, Communication systems, Stations and civils systems Responsibilities 1) Perform safety and RAM analysis for specialist projects 2) Day-to-day supervision of RAMS and System engineering tasks by Junior RAMS engineers. ; 3) Review progress of the RAMS and System engineering delivery of the projects; 4) Liaise with client for resolution of comments on the deliverables; 5) Prepare techno-commercial proposals for delivery of RAMS and system engineering and other technical tasks for the various client projects in India and abroad. Qualifications The jobholder must have a reasonable understanding of the Railway Standard for Safety and Assurance and related documents, and be an experienced practitioner of the CENELEC Standards EN50126, EN50128 and EN50129, and Common Safety Methods and ensure that these requirements are met in relation to System Engineering deliverables for Engineering and Safety. Essential: (Critical elements which the post holder must-have from first day in the post) · First class Engineering degree or a numerate degree with high academic record for Maths/Physics Around 5 years of engineering experience preferably in safety critical industries · 3 or more years hands on experience in RAMS roles in railway or other safety critical industries · Good software skills especially with Microsoft excel, Word · Knowledge of engineering standards and operational processes in a railway environment. · Good communication skills, both orally and in writing, and confidence in dealing with people from different discipline areas and at all levels across the Company. Desirable: · Experience of Requirements Management and associated tools . Experience in RAMS tools such as Reliability Workbench · Experience of feasibility studies and optioneering/trade off studies. General · The candidate should be capable of working independently on set tasks and also contribute in a team environment. · A clear thinking person demonstrating attention to detail who is well organised and can operate independently under a broad direction. · A team player who can develop and maintain good relationships and gain the confidence of other professionals both within the Company and outside · Given the international spread of the business a certain level of flexibility in working hours is important.
