Job Description

Quantity Surveyor (Civil Engineer)

Key responsibilities

Prepare and review
Bills of Quantities (BOQ)
,
quantity take-offs
, and
cost estimates
from drawings and specifications.
Conduct
rate analysis
,
costing
, and
budget preparation
for projects.
Assist in preparation and verification of
client and subcontractor bills
.
Prepare
quantity and material reconciliation
reports (cement, steel, aggregates, etc.).
Evaluate
variations, deviations, and extra items
, and prepare claims or change orders.
Maintain and update all
billing and cost-related documentation
.
Coordinate with
planning, site, and accounts teams
to ensure proper project billing and cost tracking.
Support management in
project budgeting, cost forecasting, and MIS reporting
.
Ensure all quantity surveying activities comply with
contract conditions and company policies
.

Qualifications and Skills

B.E / B.Tech in Civil Engineering
(mandatory).
10 years
of experience in
quantity surveying, estimation, and billing
in civil / infrastructure projects.
Strong understanding of
construction drawings, BOQ, and rate analysis.
Proficiency in
MS Excel, AutoCAD, and ERP / Billing software.
Knowledge of
contractual terms, tendering procedures, and cost control.
Excellent analytical, coordination, and documentation skills.
