Senior QA Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for mobile applications (Android and iOS).
• Work closely with product managers, developers, and designers to understand features and technical implementation.
• Define test strategies and create detailed test plans and test cases.
• Execute manual and automated tests to ensure the quality of releases.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions, Jenkins).
• Identify, document, and track bugs and performance issues.
• Mentor junior QA team members and advocate for best testing practices.
• Stay current with emerging mobile technologies and QA trends.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in software QA with at least 3+ years focused on mobile app testing.
• Proficient with mobile automation tools such as

  Appium, Espresso, XCUITest, or Detox

  .
• Strong experience with

  Java, Kotlin, Swift, or JavaScript/TypeScript

  for test scripting.
• Familiarity with

  CI/CD tools

  and pipelines.
• Solid understanding of mobile platforms, mobile UX/UI standards, and app store guidelines.
• Hands-on experience with bug tracking and test management tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail).
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
