Job Summary

• We are seeking a Lead in Quality and Test Engineering (QTE) to ensure high-quality software product releases with a focus on functional correctness, scalability, and performance. The role involves leading a small team of test engineers, developing automation frameworks, and improving testing processes while closely collaborating with the firm’s fintech business domain.
  

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop automation tools and test frameworks.
• Plan and execute functional, integration, and end-to-end test scenarios.
• Mentor and manage a small team of test engineers.
• Collaborate with business and development teams to understand domain requirements and ensure accuracy of trading systems, workflows, and models.
• Drive innovation by introducing new tools, processes, and automation to improve efficiency and product quality.
• Coordinate test-case development, test-plan reviews, and generate repeatable testing procedures.
  

Required Qualifications & Skills

• 6–8 years of relevant work experience in test engineering.
• Hands-on experience in designing test frameworks and white-box testing.
• Understanding of financial markets and asset classes (exchange-traded & OTC).
• Experience testing trading systems, broker connectivity, and client-server/distributed systems.
• Proficiency in object-oriented programming (Java/.NET/C++) and scripting languages (Python/PERL).
• Experience with unit testing frameworks (JUnit, TestNG) and API automation.
• Exposure to UI stacks (React/Redux) and UNIX systems.
• Strong process improvement, automation, and problem-solving skills.
