About the Role -

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop production-ready Python automation for U.S. insurance payer portals

• Automate secure portal logins, including MFA, CAPTCHA handling, and session persistence

• Retrieve patient eligibility, claims status, and Explanation of Benefits (EOBs)

• Extract and normalize data from PDF, HTML, and CSV formats

• Implement anti-bot mitigation strategies, intelligent retries, and failure recovery

• Manage sessions, cookies, and authentication tokens

• Build maintainable and extensible automation services

• Collaborate with product and operations teams to align automation with RCM workflows

Technical Requirements

• Expert-level Python development skills

• Strong experience with Playwright (preferred) or Selenium

• Hands-on experience with PDF parsing tools such as pdfplumber or PyMuPDF

• Prior healthcare or insurance RCM automation experience (mandatory)

• Strong understanding of insurance portals, MFA flows, and anti-bot protections

Nice-to-Have Skills:

• Experience with U.S. dental insurance payer portals

• Headless browser automation at scale

• Building automation as services or microservices

• Familiarity with logging, monitoring, and error-handling best practices

Deliverables

• Production-ready Python codebase

• Automation scripts/services for portal login, data retrieval, and EOB extraction

• Documentation covering setup, execution, extension points, and known limitations

• Handoff walkthrough at project completion
