Role Description We are seeking a detail-oriented professional based in India with excellent English communication skills (both written and spoken). The Insurance Verification Specialist will be responsible for checking dental insurance eligibility and benefits, updating patient records, and ensuring practices have accurate coverage information prior to appointments. Qualifications • Prior experience in dental or medical insurance verification strongly preferred. • Familiarity with U.S. dental insurance terms (PPO, EOB, CDT codes, deductibles, copayments, waiting periods, etc.). • Excellent spoken and written English communication skills. • Proficiency with MS Excel, Google Sheets, and online portals. • Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills. • Ability to work U.S. business hours (EST/PST depending on client). Preferred Skills • Experience with dental practice management software (Dentrix, Eaglesoft, Open Dental, or similar). • Prior work with U.S.-based BPOs, RCM companies, or dental billing teams. • Ability to handle high-volume tasks with speed and accuracy. Responsibilities • Verify patient dental insurance eligibility and benefits using payer portals, phone calls, and other resources. • Contact insurance companies for detailed coverage, co-pay, deductible, and limitations (annual max, waiting periods, frequency, exclusions). • Accurately document verified benefits into the client’s practice management software or provided templates. • Communicate with U.S. dental office staff via email or chat regarding missing or unclear insurance details. • Track and manage daily verification tasks, ensuring timely completion before patient appointments. • Maintain HIPAA compliance and safeguard patient health information. This role is highly hands-on — you’ll be coding daily, optimizing Azure, and building agentic AI workflows. You’ll be central to improving our API performance, RCM human workflow automarion and driving AI adoption across our platform to cobtinuwbto exoand solrion with current dev team.
