Full Time
• Source and procure materials, components, and subcontracting services based on engineering drawings and production needs
• Evaluate supplier capabilities for valve-specific parts (Housing, Side covers, Rotor, Drives etc.,)
• Negotiate prices, delivery schedules, and payment terms with vendors
• Coordinate with Design, QA, Production, and Stores for seamless material flow
• Maintain accurate procurement records and vendor master data in ERP (ODOO)
• Identify and develop alternate suppliers for critical parts to reduce dependency and cost
• Track purchase orders, follow up with vendors, and resolve supply delays proactively
• Ensure all purchases comply with company quality standards, GST norms, and documentation policies
• Monitor material price trends and maintain cost control initiatives
• Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
• 5-8 Years of procurement experience in a valve manufacturing or heavy engineering industry
• Strong understanding of machining, casting and fabrication processes
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and BOMs
• Experience in sourcing from both local and outstation vendors
• Familiarity with import procurement is preferable
• Good negotiation and vendor evaluation skills
• ERP experience is a must (Odoo/SAP/others)
