The Logistics Officer is responsible for ensuring the efficient and cost-effective flow of goods, services, and information across the supply chain. This includes managing inventory, transportation, warehousing, and distribution to ensure timely delivery and compliance with company and regulatory standards. Responsibilities: Plan, manage and coordinate logistics, transportation, and customer service Coordinate with production, stores and purchase departments for dispatch planning Liaise with vendors, transport agencies, CHA (Customs House Agents), and freight forwarders Handle domestic and export logistics documentation including e-way bills, invoices, packing lists, and export shipping documents (e.g., Bill of Lading, ARE-1, LC documentation) Track shipments and manage delivery timelines Maintain accurate records of stock, shipments, and inventory movement Ensure compliance with GST, EXIM regulations, and company policies Optimize logistics costs without compromising delivery timelines Qualifications & Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, supply chain, Business Administration, or a related field 2-5 Years of experience in logistics/supply chain, preferably in a manufacturing or engineering company Experience in handling export documentation and knowledge of DGFT procedures is a plus Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., ODOO, SAP or similar) Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills Sound understanding of transportation, warehousing and inventory practices Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Senior Purchase Engineer Coimbatore,Tamil Nadu,India 5 - 8 years None Not disclosed On-site Full Time

The Senior Purchase Engineer will be responsible for managing the procurement of raw materials, castings, machined components, fasteners, seals and outsourced fabrication essential for valve manufacturing. The role demands strong engineering knowledge, vendor development experience, and the ability to coordinate with internal departments and external suppliers. Key Responsibilities: • Source and procure materials, components, and subcontracting services based on engineering drawings and production needs • Evaluate supplier capabilities for valve-specific parts (Housing, Side covers, Rotor, Drives etc.,) • Negotiate prices, delivery schedules, and payment terms with vendors • Coordinate with Design, QA, Production, and Stores for seamless material flow • Maintain accurate procurement records and vendor master data in ERP (ODOO) • Identify and develop alternate suppliers for critical parts to reduce dependency and cost • Track purchase orders, follow up with vendors, and resolve supply delays proactively • Ensure all purchases comply with company quality standards, GST norms, and documentation policies • Monitor material price trends and maintain cost control initiatives Qualifications & Experience: • Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering • 5-8 Years of procurement experience in a valve manufacturing or heavy engineering industry • Strong understanding of machining, casting and fabrication processes • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and BOMs • Experience in sourcing from both local and outstation vendors • Familiarity with import procurement is preferable • Good negotiation and vendor evaluation skills • ERP experience is a must (Odoo/SAP/others)
