About the Role-

Senior Project Manager

managing multidisciplinary teams

15+ years of experience

Key Responsibility-

• Lead and oversee the

  execution, commissioning, and handover

  of the edible oil refinery project in Qatar.
• Serve as the

  primary interface

  with the Client/PMC, ensuring transparent communication and alignment on schedules and deliverables.
• Develop and manage

  project execution plans

  , schedules, budgets, and progress reports.
• Supervise functional leads — technical, documentation, QA/QC, and HSE — ensuring cohesive team coordination.
• Approve and review

  commissioning plans, IPT protocols, and project documentation

  .
• Monitor progress against project milestones and identify potential risks or bottlenecks.
• Drive performance, compliance, and adherence to

  safety and quality standards

  .
• Support vendor coordination, inspection, and system integration during commissioning.
• Prepare and present regular project status reports to senior management and the client.

Requirements-

• Education:

  B.Tech/M.Tech in Mechanical, Electrical, or Chemical Engineering.

• Experience:

  Minimum

  15+ years

  in project execution and commissioning for

  refinery, edible oil, process, or FMCG plants

  .
• Proven experience in

  EPC/PMC project management

  and

  commissioning supervision

  .
• Strong understanding of

  refinery operations, utilities, automation systems, and process interlocks

  .
• Excellent leadership, planning, risk management, and client communication skills.
• Familiarity with

  QA/QC systems, PTMS/IPT documentation

  , and performance testing processes.
• Prior

  GCC/Qatar project experience

  preferred.

Contract Details-

• Duration:

  6-12 months (extendable)
