Hiring Senior Program Manager in Bangalore at lollypop Got An Idea Job Role Senior Program Manager Bengaluru, Karnataka, India About the job Job Summary : We are seeking a Senior Program Manager (Design Development) who is responsible for overseeing complex product development initiatives from concept to launch, ensuring seamless integration between design, engineering, and business objectives. This role requires a deep understanding of product design and development processes, along with strong leadership, risk management, and cross-functional coordination skills. The ideal candidate will drive strategic planning, execution, and successful delivery of innovative products while balancing quality, budget, and timelines. Key Responsibilities : Program Leadership: Manage multiple high-impact design and development programs, aligning them with business strategy and customer needs. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with design, engineering, product management, UX/UI, and manufacturing teams to ensure smooth execution of development programs. Product Design Development Oversight: Ensure design and development teams adhere to best practices, technical standards, and business goals throughout the product lifecycle. Agile SDLC Execution: Implement Agile and Lean methodologies to optimize design and development workflows and improve efficiency. Stakeholder Communication: Provide regular updates on program status, risks, and dependencies to leadership and stakeholders. Risk Issue Management: Proactively identify potential obstacles, develop mitigation strategies, and ensure program continuity. Resource Planning Budgeting: Oversee program resources, capacity planning, and budget adherence for efficient program execution. Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate and refine program management methodologies to drive innovation and efficiency in design and development. Metrics Reporting: Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure program success, team efficiency, and product quality. Compliance Quality Assurance: Ensure adherence to industry regulations, design principles, and development standards. Preferred Qualifications : Bachelor s degree in Engineering, Product Design, Computer Science, or a related field. 8+ years of experience in program management, specifically in Product Design or Software development. Strong understanding of design thinking, user experience, and development lifecycles (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, etc.). Proven ability to manage multiple complex projects with cross-functional teams. Excellent problem-solving, leadership, and negotiation skills. Proficiency in project management tools such as Jira, Asana, Trello, or similar platforms. Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present to senior leadership. CSM or PMP Certified is an added advantage.
