Senior Production Supervisor - Pirangut

Role Overview

We are looking for a Production Supervisor to oversee day-to-day manufacturing operations across Foundry, Rubber, and Machine Shop units. The role involves ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality production processes while meeting delivery schedules and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage production activities in casting, machining, rubber, or assembly units.
• Plan and execute daily production schedules to achieve output and delivery targets.
• Ensure strict adherence to quality standards and customer specifications.
• Monitor machine utilization, minimize downtime, and coordinate preventive maintenance.
• Drive lean manufacturing practices, 5S, and Kaizen initiatives to improve efficiency.
• Train, guide, and motivate shop-floor teams to achieve performance goals.
• Ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental regulations.
• Maintain production records, prepare reports, and escalate issues promptly.
• Work closely with Quality, Supply Chain, and Maintenance teams for smooth plant operations.

Qualifications & Skills

• Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical / Production / Metallurgy / Industrial Engineering.
• 4–8 years of experience in manufacturing, foundry, machining, or rubber operations.
• Knowledge of casting, machining, rubber moulding, or coupling assembly processes.
• Familiarity with ISO standards, Lean, and TPM practices.
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Hands-on experience with ERP/MRP systems will be preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
