SENIOR PRODUCTION MANAGER

Senior Production Manager

The Senior Production Manager is responsible for overseeing end-to-end production operations, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to quality standards. This role leads production teams, optimizes processes, and coordinates with design, procurement, and project teams to achieve operational excellence.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Lead and efficiently manage the production department within budget to meet customer requirements and standards
• Develop an enthusiastic, motivated and flexible production team by building working relationships and providing technical expertise
• Manage the team using standard processes and reporting. Set department objectives/KPIs and review and assess ongoing performance of direct reports
• Work as part of the senior management team to ensure efficient supervision, continuous improvement and modern manufacturing principles by highlighting deficiencies and implement changes in training, working practices and processes
• Plan and schedule production resources to meet internal and external committed deliveries.
• Monitor overall production status with regards to cost, quality and on-time in full delivery. Stay on top of any changes that may affect the supply and demand of needed products and materials. Recommend solutions without compromising quality or service while optimizing cost
• Consistent use of standard costing system including related variance analysis, root cause analysis and implementation of resulting process improvements
• Develop and maintain strong and collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure optimal performance

SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES:

• Excellent leadership, interpersonal, people management and training skills
• Ability to train and build up production supervisors and production team leaders
• Ability to coach and mentor employees on a one-on-one basis as well as a group
• Production scheduling, monitoring and reporting skills
• Understanding of quality and attention to detail. Ability to detect non-conformance and enforce corrections
• Technical understanding especially for customized furniture production including their finishing
• Proficient in preparing and using reports to manage and improve area of responsibility
• Critical thinker and problem solver, good communicator, team worker, collaborative approach to others

• Production management with significant proven experience
• Production planning and scheduling
• Process improvement and lean techniques
• Reporting and management principles

Pay: From ₹40,000.00 per month
