Senior Product Specialist- India Localization (Finance & Logistics)

You will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive localization strategy for SAP products in India, with a focus on Finance and Logistics. This includes identifying market trends, regulatory changes, and utilizing AI for localized solutions. Collaboration with global product management teams to align with the overall product roadmap will be essential. Your role will involve working closely with development teams to define product requirements, prioritize feature enhancements based on customer feedback, and validate product enhancements through customer engagement. You will lead localization projects from initiation to completion, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality solutions by defining project scope, milestones, and resource requirements. Staying updated on Indian regulatory requirements related to Finance and Logistics will be a key aspect of your responsibilities, requiring collaboration with legal and compliance teams to ensure adherence to relevant regulations. Additionally, you will provide product expertise and support during pre-sales activities, conduct product demonstrations, and engage in customer meetings to showcase the value of localized SAP solutions. As a successful candidate, you are expected to have a Bachelor's degree or higher in Business Administration, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. You should possess strong knowledge of Finance and/or Logistics functions within SAP ERP systems and have at least 10 years of relevant experience, with a minimum of 8 years in the SAP ecosystem. An understanding of legal requirements and business practices in India, excellent product management skills, and experience in globally distributed organizations are required.
