Senior Product Manager - Flights

As a Senior Product Manager, Air Connectivity, you will be instrumental in driving the evolution of the value proposition of the Flights product at Booking.com. You will lead the integration, normalization, and aggregation of flight content from multiple sources, working with the broader Offer Management & Connectivity team.

This role reports directly to the Group Product Manager, Flights Content, and requires a high degree of leadership and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders, particularly those focused on airline integrations and connectivity.

Who You Are/What You Possess:

• Proven track record of delivering impactful results.
• Understanding of the flights domain and technical aspects: Experience working within the online flights domain, data (shopping, booking, ticketing), and technologies (caching infrastructure, microservices) e.g., knowledge of end-to-end flows with airline direct connect (incl. NDC), GDS &/or LCC aggregator APIs.
• Strong leadership and collaboration skills: Proven ability to lead and work effectively within a team and across departments.
• Excellent communication skills: Ability to communicate with stakeholders across different roles and levels, including senior leadership.
• Strong financial acumen: Ability to understand and analyze the impact of product capabilities/investments on customers and the business, and make data-driven decisions.
• Exceptional organizational and project management skills: Ability to manage complex projects and prioritize effectively.
• Highly data-informed: Proficient in using data to inform decisions and drive product strategy.
• Extensive experience in product development from initial stages to optimization and beyond.
• Comfortable and effective working with globally distributed teams.

Role Qualifications and Requirements:

• Your Experience:
  • 8+ years of experience in the Flights and/or Travel industry, with a significant portion in a product management role and/or significant experience working as a technology consultant or manager with material experience with flights APIs & workflows for the Online Travel Agency community
  • Extensive experience in product development processes and agile methodologies.
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to influence and persuade stakeholders at all levels. Strong written and presentation skills.
  • Proven ability to manage large and complex projects, with a focus on delivering measurable results.
  • Extensive experience in all phases of product management: build, scale, and optimize.
  • Highly solution-oriented and driven to achieve ambitious outcomes.
  • Expertise in formulating and tracking meaningful business metrics and using data to drive product decisions.
