About the Role :

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer with proven expertise in product engineering and product design to join our team at our manufacturing facility in Chavan, Pune. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical design, product development, and engineering leadership, with the ability to drive innovative solutions from concept to production.

Key Responsibilities :

*Lead and oversee product design, development, and engineering activities for new and existing products.

*Collaborate with cross-functional teams including R&D, production, quality, and supply chain to ensure successful product development.

*Conduct feasibility studies, design calculations, and material selection to meet functional and cost requirements.

*Review and validate 3D models, 2D drawings, and design documentation.

*Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety, and regulatory requirements.

*Drive design optimization for manufacturability, quality, and cost efficiency.

*Mentor and guide junior engineers in technical and professional development.

*Provide technical support during prototype development, testing, and production ramp-up.

*Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and innovation projects

Qualifications & Skills :

*Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (Master’s degree preferred).

*8–15 years ( Preferably Water Industry) of experience in product engineering and product design within the manufacturing/engineering industry.

*Strong knowledge of CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, CATIA, AutoCAD, Creo, etc.).

*Proven track record of working in a senior engineering role with leadership responsibilities.

*Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, materials, and mechanical systems.

*Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and project management skills.

*Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

*Strong communication and leadership skills.
