Key Responsibilities:

• Conceptualize and design

  innovative mechanical solutions with a strong understanding of functionality, manufacturability, and performance.

• Identify root causes of mechanical failures

  and implement robust, long-term design solutions.
• Lead and collaborate with

  cross-functional teams

  including electronics, manufacturing, quality, and sourcing.
• Apply

  DFM/DFA principles

  to optimize product design for efficient and cost-effective manufacturing.
• Create and review

  detailed engineering drawings

  , incorporating GD&T standards.
• Use CAD tools (SolidWorks, AutoCAD) for 3D modeling, assemblies, and design validation.
• Select appropriate materials based on a solid foundation in

  material science

  , including metals, polymers, and composites.
• Interpret and analyze

  technical datasheets, specifications

  , and other engineering documentation.
• Be

  hands-on in product assembly, testing, and validation

  , and demonstrate a strong commitment to delivering a complete and functional product.
• Provide

  technical leadership

  and mentor junior engineers, managing design timelines and deliverables.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Strong conceptual design skills and experience solving complex design problems.
• 6+ years of mechanical product design experience, preferably in a product-based company.
• Solid understanding of

  engineering physics and mechanical principles

  .
• Proven application of

  DFM/DFA

  methodologies in product development.
• Proficient in

  GD&T

  , technical drawings, and industry-standard

  CAD tools

  .
• Practical knowledge of

  materials

  including plastics, rubber, metals, and composites.
• Excellent analytical and documentation skills.
