ABOUT SOCIALWELL

SocialWell builds digital infrastructure for scaling SMEs and social-impact organizations. Since 2016 we provide NGO/MIS solutions, community data collection, project management, annual & project reporting, and donor-facing content. Our FPOSoft product supports producer collectives (Farmer Producer Organizations, Self Help Groups) in business planning and reporting. Through NGO/MIS SocialWell provides a range of high-quality professional grade designs of Annual Report, Newsletter, Project Report, Brochure, among other communications and marketing collaterals. While most of the print publications may not need original illustrations, some might require.

Infrastructure and tools: We are primarily using Adobe suite of products through Adobe Creative Cloud but also use Canva and software-based design (CSS, React, JavaScript, for example). We also have subscriptions for leading photo, illustrations, and graphic design library providers.

ABOUT THIS CALL

SocialWell seeks one Senior Print Designer on a contract basis, but available for onsite (Bhubaneswar, Odisha, India) interactions for exchanging feedback on the design approach and finalization.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

This call for one Senior Print Designer who will look after the following:

1. Create a brand asset in selected design tool – Adobe Express/ Canva/ Adobe Creative Cloud – of the client including color, typography, and logo. In some cases, iconography is also defined.

2. Create original design prototypes for the client, based on client’s social impact areas, geographies and other branding and marketing narratives.

3. Create designs for Annual Reports, newsletter, training manual, and other collaterals based on approved design prototypes.

4. Provide guidance to the design team in creating the additional design assets based on the original design philosophy.

HOW TO APPLY

This contractual role requires following qualifications:

1. Minimum 5 – 8 years of design experience, especially for print publications.

2. Highly conversant with Adobe design, especially illustrations.

3. Availability for periodic meetings in Bhubaneswar (hybrid/ remote with quarterly in-person visits acceptable).
