Senior Principal Technical Safety Engineer

As a Senior Principal Engineer Technical Safety in this role, you will be responsible for leading technical safety engineering activities for offshore and onshore oil & gas EPC projects. Your extensive experience in loss prevention, safety studies, and compliance with Aramco standards (SAES, SAEP) will be crucial in managing multidisciplinary teams and ensuring project delivery within budget and schedule. Your key responsibilities will include: - Leading and reviewing technical safety deliverables such as safety layouts, cause & effect, datasheets, specifications, and shutdown philosophies. - Conducting and validating safety studies including HAZOP, QRA, F&G Mapping, HAC, Firewater demand, and Blast/Dispersion Analysis. - Ensuring strict compliance with Saudi Aramco standards (SAES, SAEP) and international codes (API, NFPA, IEC, ISA, NACE). - Interface with Aramco project management teams (SAPMT), clients, and statutory authorities for necessary approvals. - Guiding, mentoring, and supervising a team of safety engineers while providing technical leadership. - Supporting FEED, detailed engineering, EPC execution, bids/proposals, and site commissioning. - Managing subcontractors/vendors and reviewing technical bid evaluations, purchase specifications, and vendor documents. - Participating in safety workshops, FAT, inspections, site surveys, and providing operational/commissioning support.
