STATUS: 37.5 hours per week, Permanent. SALARY: Competitive and based on experience and qualifications. LOCATION: Kochi, India DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE : Develop and validate static and dynamic power system models. Perform advanced studies including load flow, fault, stability, and harmonic analysis. Design control systems and tune parameters for grid performance and stability. Contribute to internal software development and power systems research. Support technical sales through product demos, client meetings, and solution design. Translate client requirements into technical solutions and assist in proposal development. Mentor junior engineers and collaborate across technical and business teams. REQUIREMENTS Essential requirements include: Master’s or PhD in Power Systems / Electrical Engineering / Control Systems or closely related fields. 5+ years of experience in power system modelling, analysis, and simulation. Proficiency in simulation tools Strong programming skills: Python, C++ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills – ability to work across technical and commercial teams. Desirable requirements: Familiarity with Git, GitHub or similar version control tools. Experience in Co-simulation. Hands-on experience with real time simulators Familiarity with SCADA, EMS and interfacing protocols with multiple power system applications Familiarity with the challenges to network operations and ability to suggest and develop innovative solutions THE POSITION IPSA Power (www.ipsa-power.com) develops and maintains IPSA, a power system analysis tool, and other products based on it.
