What You'll Do

Business Leadership

Operations Excellence

• Ensure Smooth Operations: Oversee vessel operations per agreed protocols and SOPs
• Client Delight: Maintain high standards of service delivery and client satisfaction
• Financial Management: Efficiently manage fund disbursements, outstanding collections, and desk profitability

Team Development

• Lead & Inspire: Manage, mentor, and motivate your team to achieve their full potential
• Build Talent: Foster a culture of learning and professional development
• Performance Management: Conduct gap analysis and create growth plans for team members

Stakeholder Collaboration

• Cross-functional Coordination: Liaise with branches for seamless operations and problem-solving

What We're Looking For

Essential Knowledge

• Maritime Expertise: Deep understanding of the shipping industry, EXIM policies, and port regulations
• Agri-Commodity Savvy: Knowledge of global agri-trade routes, demand-supply dynamics, and seasonality factors
• Market Intelligence: Understanding of freight indices, commercial structures, and key players (charterers, vessel owners, producers)
• Industry Insights: Access to formal and informal information sources on market trends
