Senior Policy Manager

Role Overview: As a Senior Policy Manager in the Retail Banking department, your primary responsibility will be to manage, assess, and monitor policy norms. You will define the risk appetite and broad level policies for assigned products, ensure adherence to statutory guidelines, and contribute to the larger objectives of the bank. Key Responsibilities: - Facilitate regular asset quality reviews, provide analytics insights, identify risks/opportunities, and recommend relevant actions. - Review program risk acceptance criteria regularly, update them timely, and adapt proactively to changes in legal/regulatory requirements, business strategies, market environment, or portfolio performance. - Assist in building strong controls across all spectrums to mitigate risks in Onboarding, Credit, Operations, Fraud, and Reputation. - Anticipate portfolio direction, estimate losses, and implement strategies to control them. - Monitor portfolio delinquencies at a micro level, identify delinquent segments, locations, and profiles. - Shape the risk appetite of the product in alignment with growth objectives and the Risk Appetite framework of the bank, incorporating risk-based pricing. - Implement technological interventions like scorecards, digital journeys, and automation to streamline processes. - Recommend process and policy improvements across Retail Banking business to enhance operational efficiencies and customer service quality. - Collaborate with internal stakeholders to leverage in-house synergies. - Recruit and retain top talent for key roles in your reporting structure. Qualifications Required: - Graduation in Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com), Bachelor of Science (B.Sc), Bachelor of Arts (BA), Bachelor of Business & Insurance (BBI), or Bachelor of Management Studies (BMS). - Post-Graduation in Master of Business Administration (MBA), Master of Commerce (M.Com), or Master of Arts (MA). - 5-10 years of relevant experience in the field.,
