Senior Platform/Infrastructure Engineer

Must understandapplication architecture and collaborate on product decisions. Your strength lies in combiningdeep infrastructure expertise with a strong understanding of product needs.Responsibilities● Participate in Architecture Discussions: Contribute to high-level architectural decisionsacross backend, frontend, and infrastructure, ensuring scalability, security and operationalexcellence.● Review Application Code with an Infrastructure Lens: Evaluate MERN codebasesfor performance, reliability, deployment readiness and adherence to infrastructure bestpractices.● Own the Developer Experience Platform: Lead efforts to streamline developmentworkflows, CI/CD pipelines, tooling and automation to improve productivity and reducefriction for engineering teams.● Make Infrastructure Decisions with Product Context: Design and implementinfrastructure solutions that reflect product priorities, user needs, and long-term businessgoals - balancing cost, performance and reliability.● Drive DevOps Best Practices: Champion infrastructure-as-code, automateddeployments, observability and robust monitoring across all environments.● Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Work closely with product managers, developers, QAand leadership to align technical decisions with roadmap objectives.● Mentor & Guide Engineering Teams: Provide technical leadership to junior andmid-level engineers across MERN and DevOps domainsRequirementsMust Have:● 10+ years of experience in software engineering (MERN), DevOps, or infrastructureroles● Strong background in cloud infrastructure, preferably AWS or Azure● Expertise in containerization and orchestration: Docker, Kubernetes, ECS, EKS● Proficiency in scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or PowerShell● Hands-on experience with infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform and Ansible● Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., ArgoCD, Jenkins, GitLab, CircleCI)● Experience with monitoring and logging tools like Datadog, Logstash, Kibana● Strong grasp of systems architecture, deployment automation, and performanceoptimization● Prior experience working in cross-functional teams in fast-paced environments● Excellent communication and collaboration skills
