Associate/ Senior Associate - Indirect Tax

Job Description About the company- HRhelpdesk is a HR Advisory Company, it has been retained to manage end to end recruitment process for BMR Legal Advocates. BMR Legal Advocates is a boutique law firm founded in 2010 specializing in the areas of Corporate International Tax, Transfer Pricing, GST, Customs & Trade, with expertise in litigation services, controversy management, strategic transaction advisory and policy. Job Summary - The Associate/ Senior Associate will be responsible for managing client engagements which will be related to Indirect tax – GST, customs, excise, etc. We follow no Work from Home policy except in exceptional circumstances. Role & Responsibilities- Assist in drafting clients responses in the Indirect tax advisory matters (GST, Customs, Excise, VAT, etc) To support in Advisory and litigation work in Indirect taxes and any other matter that the Firm requires. Assisting in research and helping with drafting research papers, thought leaderships, articles etc Litigation matters relating to the above in terms of preparing paper books, submissions, assistance in briefing, etc To support our firm’s clients- both internal and external. Requirements 2- 10 years of experience Indirect tax in reputed law firm or professional services firm. Analytical, Research skills along with good communication Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple deadlines. Chartered Accountant/ LLB Benefits Best in the Industry.
