Senior Officer, Specialist, Business Development - Consumer Lending

Role Overview: As a Sales Manager in the Consumer LAP business at DBS, your primary responsibility is to recruit and train manpower, drive productivity from Direct Sales Teams (DSTs), and promote Consumer LAP business through Branch Banking channels. You will also focus on cross-selling to existing customers and new customers, ensuring profitability and portfolio quality for all assigned branches. Key Responsibilities: - Recruitment and training of manpower to meet budgeted numbers - Handholding DSTs to drive productivity and ensure compliance with the sales process - Conduct catchment mapping and marketing activities to maximize business opportunities - Achieve the Annual Operating Plan targets for both DSTs and Branches - Maintain profitability of the Consumer LAP business and monitor portfolio quality Qualifications Required: - 5-10 years of experience in sourcing Business Loans, Loan against property, or MSME business - 3-5 years of experience in team handling - Graduation or Post Graduation - Strong sales and business development background - Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to lead and develop teams - Proficiency in relationship management, team development, strategy and planning, and resource allocation - Sound knowledge of banking industry practices - Computer skills and digital knowledge - Extensive network in the market - Team player with self-motivation Additional Details: DBS offers a competitive salary and benefits package in a dynamic environment that supports your professional development and recognizes your achievements.
